Romex Cable TypeNM-BNMC-B
Applications
Romex Cables Type NM-B NMC-B containing 2-4 thermoplastic-insulated circuit conductors. with a grounding conductor, These cables are intended for use in accordance with Article 334 and other applicable parts of the national Electrical Code. Type NMC-B cable is for use in dry moist, damp, and corrosive locations, and Type NM cable is for use in normally dry locations. Both types carry the suffix letter -B to designate the use of conductor with 90” insulation.
Specifications
Type NM-B NMC-B cable according to UL Standard 83, UL Standard 719, Only UL Certification.
Type NMD90 NMWU cable according to UL Standard 83, CSA Standard C22.2 NO.48, for UL and Canada.
Construction
Romex Cable is manufactured as 2,3, or 4 conductor cable, with a bare ground wire.
Conductors are Copper or aluminum or copper clad aluminum.
Conductor insulation is 90°-rated polyvinyl chloride(PVC), nylon jacketed.
The Cable jacket is color-coded for quick size identification: White--14AWG
Yellow---12AWG;Orange--10AWG; and Black-----8AWG,6AWG,4AWG and 2AWG
Rated Voltage:600V
